Answer the Questions

Warriors Arise: March 14, 2023

1 Chronicles 16:7-36 (NKJV) On that day David first delivered this psalm into the hand of Asaph and his brethren, to thank the Lord:

8 Oh, give thanks to the Lord!

Call upon His name;

Make known His deeds among the peoples!

I do not want to skip over this. It is too important. David had truly thought about what he wanted to say. His heart was bursting with joy and exploding to give thanks to the Lord. He wanted to exhort everyone to give thanks to the Lord. So, let's take a moment and give thanks to the Lord.

What has the Lord done for you today?

What did He do for you yesterday?

What did He do for you last week?

What did He do for you last month?

What did He do for you last year?

Today, the Lord has brought me and my girls together to celebrate my oldest's birthday. We were unable to get together for her "golden birthday," as she turned 22 on the 22nd of February. Just so you know, I was unsure we were going to be able to get together to celebrate. Financially, things just weren't working out for us to make the trip; but God intervened and has worked out the financial kinks. We have the next three days together. I am praising God. I have been praying about this since January when I didn't think it would happen at all.

Yesterday, God gave us safe travels on the way to pick up Abigail. We had no weather problems, no traffic jams, no construction and no one had tummy issues. That is a GREAT trip and I thank the Lord for directing our path and keeping us healthy. A double blessing. I believe God put it in my heart to leave early so we could stop in Joplin, MO at a particular shop I was in last August. That particular shop didn't have anything for a prom dress. So I asked if there was another store. They graciously directed me to another store, not even their brand. We walked into the next store and there was Lydia's prom dress on the mannequin. We all knew it. Lydia and I talked later about how she wouldn't have found a dress, like that one, anywhere else. We are in awe of God.

Last week, when I had almost given up hope that we would see Abigail, but God told me to trust Him and watch what He would do. He made a way and I had to trust His provision. Scott was at his men's coffee group on Tuesday the week before and his former boss was needing to return to Mayo for possible surgery. They asked Scott if he would return to work while they were gone. He had no idea they would need him during this time. God provided and I will give thanks!

Last month, God brought back to life something that had died. God aligned people to come along side of me to put together a women's conference called "The Overflow is Coming." Again, I stand in awe of God. I thank God for the opportunity, courage, and strength to accomplish in three weeks what seemed impossible. God made the impossible possible when I said, "Yes" and others joined me. I thank God for the opportunity to put together something so incredible and deliver the life changing messages for each one who came. I stand in awe because when I teach in this setting, I get so much out of it. God speaks directly to the depth of my soul, mind and heart and the connection is like getting an infusion. I praise God for the opportunity to join Him in this great exploit to bring freedom to His people and strength to walk in the fullness of all He has for them.

Last year, God strengthened me to endure some extensive hardships, persevere when the odds were stacked against me, and be faithful as He is faithful. My faithfulness is nowhere near His; however, it is better than it was before. He wouldn't let me quit. There were so many times I wanted to quit. I just couldn't continue on, but God, He met me and set my feet on solid ground. He gave me strategy to take down the giants that stood before me and taught me. They were bigger and stronger than me but they were nothing when I came in the name of the Lord, my God. The enemy may draw the battle lines, but I will not engage him until God is with me.

Why do I share? Because we live by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. These are my testimonies of what God has done in my life. I did what I am asking you to do. Remember, what God has done. Answer the questions above. Give real answers. Surely, there is something for each question for you to give thanks to the Lord.

Father, You are worthy of my praise. However, I cannot praise You if I am not willing to recognize what You have done for me. Each day, You have been active in my life. You have answered my prayers and given me opportunity to live my life boldly for You and before You. I will remember what You have done. I will give praise and thanksgiving for all You have done. You are my God and I will give You thanks in Jesus' name amen.
