Boldly Release and Establish

Warriors Arise: December 21, 2023

Matthew 6:9-10a In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

When Jesus is saying "Your kindgom come" to His disicples is He refering to Himself? He is a part of God's kingdom that has come to earth.

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

"The kingdom of heaven is at hand" is mentioned 100 times in the new testament. The disciples saw Jesus access the kingdom of heaven and it be demonstrated right before their eyes. When they started to get a revelation of "Your kingdom come," something shifted.

Jesus sends them out two by two and they experience the opportunity to released God's desires to bring freedom to the people and establishing His kingdom on earth just as they had seen Jesus do. When they return and tell Him about what happened. Jesus celebrates how they have tapped into releasing and establishing God's kingdom here on earth.

Do you need God's kingdom to come? His power to move a mountain? To heal a loved one? To cleanse a leper? To raise the dead, maybe you don't want someone physically brought back to life, but what about those who are dead in their sin and need to be alive in their spirit?

Our Father in heaven, hallowed is Your name, Your kingdom come, release Your power, give us courage to go and do Your will. I pray my heart is aligned with Your's. It is not about what I think I can or can't do, it is about what I know You can do and will do through me. I pray I will operate in boldness. Through Your strength, power and direction, I will pray faith filled prayers. I will believe for Your kingdom to come. I will see Your kingdom come and be established in the hearts of people and our land in Jesus' name amen.
