Galatians 3:26 (NKJV) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 6:18 - 7:1 (NKJV) “I will be a Father to you,

And you shall be My sons and daughters,"

Says the Lord Almighty.

Romans 8:14 (NKJV) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Matthew 18:2-5 (NKJV) Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

Ephesians 5:1 (NKJV) Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

As a parent there is nothing like having your child step into being, living, and making decisions that reflect the good counsel, training and an active relationship with God. Jesus desires for no one to be turned away. He wants you and I to approach God and spend time with His Father.

When God offers us to be His children, we have an amazing opportunity to really see what it is like to be doted upon and know you are the apple of His eye. When we step into the Father-child relationship there is so much possibility, because we finally recognize and embrace the love God has always had for us.

• When a child knows they are truly loved, they have confidence to go after what God has placed in their heart. They are at peace and know that if they fall God will always be there to help them get back on their feet. Those knowing the Father's love have no problem reaching out, doing the impossible, dreaming the unbelievable and saying "Yes," when God asks.

• When a child doesn't know their Father's love they are insecure, wayward, and apathetic or striving. Without knowing the Father's love they will not think to ask God to help them out the mess they are in. They will not look for God to help them. They will live life to themselves, by themselves, without being able to truly connect with people and will not be ready to say "Yes," to God. They stay in the "I'll pray about that" mode, which is deceptively a "No."

It takes faith in God to believe and receive His love for us. We can say we believe God loves us, but if there is not evidence of courage, boldness, doing the impossible, testifying of God's goodnesses, walking the freedom He offers, and living in peace; it is difficult for people to believe that we have received His love. There should be evidence in our life of the Father's love. Not based on what He has done for us, the evidence is based on how we live our life.

A child of God steps into their relationship with God through faith.

If we do not operate as God's child through faith, do we see ourselves as His child?

A child of God is led by the Spirit.

If are not led by the Spirit but by our thinking, are we a child of God?

A child of God imitates God.

If we don't look like God then have we embraced being His child?

God's heart beats for you and I. He wants us to know His amazing love goes beyond our Salvation. His amazing love calls us into being His own. He desires to dream with us, inspire us to overcome, achieve great exploits to expand His kingdom, join Him in the miracle, sit on His lap, hear His heartbeat, and awaken the destiny He placed within us. There is so much to the relationship of being God's child and relating to Him as the good and wonderful Father. He is so amazing. He is cheering for you. He wants you to achieve and overcome. He wants you to be loved and love others. He wants for you to be about His business. He wants you to lay yourself aside and become who He dreams you would be.

God is so very good. His love is absolutely amazing.

Father, thank You for giving me the opportunity to be Your child. I do not fully comprehend what this means. I know I need You as my Father. I know You will give me good counsel. You will teach me and guide me. You will be in my life. You will not allow harm to come to me. You will protect and provide for me. You will pour out Your abundance in my life. You will cheer for me. You will walk with me and teach me. You will not leave me to my own ways. You will not allow me to remain selfish in my daily life. You will call me to care more about others and serve them well. You will continue to call out what You have destined me to do. Thank you for pursing me. I will hold onto You and live out my God-destiny in Jesus' name amen.
