Warriors Arise: January 9, 2024
Matthew 6:9-13 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
"Yours is the power"! Everything about God is power.
God's name is power.
God's grace is power.
God's kindness is power.
God's love is power.
God's freedom is power.
God's patience is power.
God's gentleness is power.
God's meekness is power.
God's mercy is power.
God's wisdom is power.
God's way is power.
God's creativity is power.
God's diligence is power.
God's faithfulness is power.
God's deliverance is power.
God's healing is power.
God's forgiveness is power.
And the list goes on because everything about God is power.
God's power is not to be feared. His power demonstrates He is second to none. When we are His, we have nothing to fear. No one can defeat our God. No one can take Him down. No one can penetrate His defenses.
Psalm 27:1-6
The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.
He is God Almighty. The angels see the greatness of our God and cannot stop praising Him day and night. Every second of every day the angels see the power of God demonstrated through His love to mankind all around the world. I believe this is why they never rest praising God.
Revelation 4:8 ...And they do not rest day or night, saying:
“Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come!”
My Father in heaven. Hallowed be Your name. Your works are glorious. Your power is unbeatable. Your love is unstoppable. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today revelation of Your word. Forgive me for what I have done to cause pain to others. I praise You for Your forgiveness. I extend forgiveness to those who have hurt me. Lead me not into temptation but deliver me from the evil one. Yours is the kingdom and the power forever! I will not be afraid of how You demonstrate Your power. I will praise You day and night in Jesus' name amen.
