Warriors Arise: March 29, 2024
Matthew 8:16 &17 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
”He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.”
What else did Jesus need to do to prove He is God? I just don't get it. There was not sickness that He couldn't heal. There was no person He couldn't deliver from their demons. He knew Scripture and God's heart better than any of the scholars and priests.
Today, being Good Friday, I am in awe of God's attention to detail. Jesus did everything to fulfill Scripture. God shared what Jesus, the Christ, our Messiah, would do when He came. Jesus, Himself, took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. His actions alone scream, "I am He. I am the Christ, the Messiah, the long awaited One. I am here to save the world. I can save you. I will heal you. I invite you to come, see, believe, and receive the goodness of what My Father has planned for you."
My prayer is for all people to believe and receive this amazing gift of salvation. I pray eyes would be opened to see the truth of Jesus Christ. I pray ears would be open to hearing God's voice. I pray for minds to be open to believe He is who He says He is. I pray the evidence would be acknowledged. I pray for hearts and kinds yield and embrace all Jesus died to give to them.
Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I pray for minds to be open to believe in Jesus Christ as their Messiah, Lord and Savior. I pray for hearts to turn to Jesus and embrace His love. I pray for eyes to see God in their daily life. I pray they would hear God speak to them. I pray for the greatness of God to be glorified. I pray His name would be magnified to all areas of the world. I pray for The name of Jesus of be honor and glorified like the angles. Thank You, Jesus, for taking our infirmities and removing the burned of our sickness. You demonstrate Your love for me each day. I worship You, in Jesus' Name, amen.
