Warriors Arise: February 16, 2022
Luke 19:1-10 (NKJV) Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. 5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” 6 So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. 7 But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.” 8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” 9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Yesterday I shared that Salvation is a big deal. Now that you know it, declare it. I have repented of my sins; therefore I am forgiven! Because of my Salvation through Christ:
I am a victor and no longer the victim.
I am a conqueror instead of the conquered.
I am led in triumph when the battle rages against us.
I am made whole when life has shattered before us.
I am made new, a new creation in Christ.
I am like Christ, an imitator of God (Eph 5:1)
I am living out my purpose, destiny and calling.
I am full of the peace of God that surpasses understanding.
I am the one who operates in wisdom and understanding given by God.
I am the one whose work is blessed.
I am the one who rises up when life wants to knock me down.
I am the one who operates in abundance, so I have what others needs: faith, finances, courage, compassion and joy.
I am the one who never gives up, because I know God will make a way out.
I am a priest of God.
I am royalty.
I am of a peculiar people.
I am surrounded by His cloud of witnesses.
I am encouraged by those who have gone before me.
I am the one who receives from the Lord, so I can give what has freely been given to me. I receive forgiveness, so I give forgiveness. I receive healing, so I give healing. I receive courage, so I encourage others. I receive compassion, so I give compassion. I receive joy, so I give joy. I received unconditional love, so I give unconditional love.
It is more than knowing what You have been given. A life lived for Christ, in Christ activates what they have been given. They do not bury it and live life without what Christ died to give us.
Matthew 25:24-29 (NKJV) “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ 26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. 29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance
Father, it is not enough for me jus tot know that I have been given abundance, joy, peace, talents, abilities, empowerment, the identity of royalty if I am not going to do anything with it. I am worthy because the blood fo Jesus makes me worthy. I will not entertain ideas of being less than when Jesus says I am more than. I will look for what Jesus has for me and believe for the very best. I will not cancel out my blessing because of a mindset that causes decay on the very word of hope You have spoken in Your word and into my life. I will embrace all that You have said is mine and rejoice in the opportunity to excel in all You have put into my hands to do. You are my God and I will not be less than what You say I am. You are my Lord and I will serve Your faithfully with hope and action. You are my Savior and I will live apart from the life You saved me from. That is only my testimony of the Salvation I now live in Jesus' name amen.
