Warriors Arise: May 3, 2023
Genesis 1:9-13 (NKJV) Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 So the evening and the morning were the third day.
Something is stirring in me. The change is coming. The creative work of God is happening in my life and I am praying it happens in yours as well. I need Him to speak over me and create anew. I need the expanse of the heaves, to know that when I have asked for forgiveness, my sins are as far from the east as the west. On day three, it speaks of organization, things being put in their place for the purpose of what is to come. Water had to be gathered in one place or places, spring water and salt water. They serve two different purposes for mankind. Then land had to be given its place for growth, seedtime and harvest. God knew exactly what He was doing.
There are times when things have to be separated in our lives, even organized before we can plant for the harvest to come. For God, He spoke into being the grass, herbs, fruit trees, and all vegetation we know today. He had to speak that they would have seed. He wanted them to continue to reproduce after their kind. He created them in full bloom and with fruit.
Today, I would like to encourage you to sit before God and ask:
What do I need to get organized in my life so I can be fruitful in Your kingdom?
What needs to be separated in order for growth in my life to happen?
Plant in me what You want me to produce.
Father, I come before You today. My life seems to run nonstop. I am willing to hear Your direct me in what needs to be organized in my life. I want You to tell me what needs to be separated. I want to be prepared for growth to happen in me. I do not want the lack of organization and out-of-control schedule to steal from the fruit You want me to bear. I pray for my ears to be open to hear and my eyes to see what You want separated and organized. I pray I would be about resolving situations that are stealing my time because I have put the real time into getting them resolved. They cause such continual stress. They seem to recycle back to being disturbance at the worse of times. I want to find resolve and have the problem resolved. I will diligently seek to hear You and see You at work in my life. I will get to work on resolving the reoccurring stressors because I haven't made them a priority to get them resolved. I will allow things to be separated so You can create in me what will bear fruit for the expansion of Your kingdom. I will allow You to work in my life. I will follow Your lead and get organized as You direct. I will resolve the ongoing problems. I will not stick a bandaide on them. I will find the solution. I will be fruitful for Your kingdom in Jesus' name amen.
