Warriors Arise: August 3, 2021
Mark 10:13-16 (NKJV) Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
Too many times we think God is not paying attention. We think He didn't see what is being done to us. But our God is the only God who can see. He is the only God who can hear. He is the only God who will act on behalf of His people. He offered us a loving relationship that includes authority, dominion, wisdom, understanding, everlasting love and kindness. He demonstrates His amazing love toward us every time He makes a way when there is no way. He makes sure there is an angel with us and reporting back to Him. He walks with us through the valley fo the shadow of death. Therefore, we will fear no evil. His love cast out all fear. His peace put out all flames of anxiety. His joy abounds after a time of mourning. He redeems us from sin and restores us to our purpose. He is God. He sees what is going on.
Father, thank You for everything You have done in my life. There have been countless problems, heartaches, and adversities to face. But, You have been with me. You have brought me up out of there and set my feet on solid ground. You have loved me when I was a sinner with rebellion in my heart. There are times when I allow my mind to be tricked into thinking that You are not doing anything to help me. But, in the silence, You are releasing Your plan. Nothing gets past You. When You see what is happening, You begin the process of restoration, making sure the right thing happens. I am so thankful to be Your child and for You to be my God. You see and respond to what is going on in my life. You see when people try to step in and prevent me from engaging in a deeper relationship with You, when I am embracing my future, and when no one can defend me but You. Thank You for seeing me, right here, right now. Thank You for Your amazing awareness of what is going on and responding. You are amazing in all of Your ways in Jesus' name amen.
