The Touch of God, part 25

Warriors Arise: August 8, 2021

Mark 10:13-15 (NKJV) Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.

I really like the word, assuredly, especially when it is used in my favor.

Assuredly, I am blessed.

Assuredly, I am God's chosen.

Assuredly, I am the apple of His eye.

Assuredly, I will walk through the valley of the shadow of death and fear no evil.

Assuredly, I will never be alone.

Assuredly, my prayers will be heard.

Assuredly, God will answer.

Assuredly, I am not alone.

Assuredly, the strength of God flows within me.

Assuredly, the Holy Spirit will guide me.

Assuredly, the blood of Jesus will be enough.

Assuredly, I am highly favored.

Assuredly, my children will rise and call me blessed.

Assuredly, I will fulfill my destiny.

Assuredly, I will live out my purpose.

Assuredly, my God is for me; therefore, He is working things out in my favor.

Assuredly, as written in this Scripture, according to Strong's, means firm, trustworthy, surely, and often replaced with amen, verily, and so be it.

When Jesus is telling His disciples, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” There is no doubt we are to have childlike, completely, without question faith in all God has said and done. When we believe in this manner we know we enter the kingdom of God. Honestly, I believe it goes further than enter into heaven when we die. I believe it means we enter into the relationship Jesus had with God while He was walking the Earth. I believe it means we have the same authority Jesus had over the temptations of the enemy, as well as the winds and the waves that tried to drown all of them when they were crossing the sea. I believe it gives us authority to speak and people to hear, comprehend and follow the lead of the Holy Spirit, just like Jesus did while on earth.

When Jesus uses the word assuredly, there is no doubt in His mind nor His understanding of Scripture. Those who believe with childlike faith, without a doubt, uncompromising what God has said, God will do kind of resolve will enter the fullness of the kingdom of heaven here and now as well as when they proceed to the pearly gates.

Jesus is sure how we receive the fullness of the kingdom of God, are you?

Father, Jesus spoke directly, clearly and with out a doubt. He shared exactly what is needed for each one of us to enter Your kingdom. I pray for there to be spread of Your Word through the land. I pray for the word to get a revelation of Jesus Christ, our Messiah, and receive what He did for us. I pray we would embrace the fullness of Salvation. I pray we would see You desire Your kingdom to be established here on earth. I ask for minds to comprehend and receive the truth of Your love. I ask for hearts to believe and mended by the touch of Your compassion. I ask for bodies to be made whole. I ask for our latter days to be greater than our former days. I pray for those who have embraced Salvation to shine bright everywhere they go. I pray we would stand up for what is right. I pray we would have influence with those around us. You are faithful to love us and we will be faithful to walk in all You have for us. We will walk with the peace that surpasses understanding. We will release the compassion of Jesus Christ to heal the broken, mend the lame, restore sight and hearing, and redeem the purpose You placed within each person. You love us and we will share of this amazing love to others in Jesus name amen.
