Warriors Arise: October 15, 2021
Matthew 9:28-29 (NKJV) And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”
Take a minute. Close your eyes.
What would it feel like to have God touch your eyes? To lay His hands on your head. To speak directly to blessing you.
What would it feel like to have Jesus touch the part of you that needs healing? A physically healing or a wound from your past.
What if God could reach back in time and heal a memory right after it happened?
What if you felt such amazing love within every fiber of your being.
In that touch, you knew God never wanted that bad thing to happen to you. He never wanted you to have to deal with a physical challenge or terminal illness. That is what I believe of my God. If He were to say to me, “According to your faith let it be to you.” I believe I would receive what I believe His touch would do in my life, in my mind, in my memories, to heal my physical body and wounded memories.
If you do not believe this of God, then take the time to allow His love to pour over you and saturate you in every cell of your body and every memory of your past. Allow His healing to come. Let him demonstrate His amazing love. Take the time. Don't allow your mind to wander from His love. Allow His peace to come over you. Let your mind be filled with the truth. Receive His words over you and to your heart.
Father, I position myself before You. I desire you to touch the parts of me that are weak and broken. I ask for You to minister You amazing love over my past. Those memories are to haunt me no more. When I remember them they will only be pillars of the testimony of Your love for me, how Your restored me and set me apart. In my physical weakness I will know You are strong. I am able because You are faithful. I receive Your touch upon my life in Jesus' name amen.
