Warriors Arise: November 6, 2020
Galatians 3:1-4 (NKJV) O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain?
It probably won't surprise you to know how I responded. But before I tell you, let's look as our options.
"Can't this election be over already?!"
"Can't they just accept what has happened?"
"I knew they were crooked."
"Does it really matter who is president?"
"Let me get on with my life."
"They are making this stuff up."
I am sure you have heard more comments. My questions, "Why is it important to have the truth?" A question I was asking back in May, "Why don't people want the truth?" It seemed like people were willing to make assumptions about facts without having the facts and they were okay with that. Since when did Americans become a people who wanted to be told what to think? Is that the kind of America we have become? We don't want the truth? We don't want to use common sense and reason? We do not want people to do their job well? We do not want people to be honest and trustworthy? Is that really the America we want?
America the beautiful. Have you noticed that people can have a beautiful appearance but when you get to know them they don't look so beautiful anymore. Their outward appearance didn't change, so why did your opinion change? When people look at America, it seems to be the country they want to destroy, dominate, damn, or dream to be a part of.
Why the hate toward us? Because we excel, in our capitalist economy. Therefore, if they want to do business with us, they have to learn our language. If they want to receive our tourism, they must to have people who speak our language. If they want to visit our country they need to learn our language. Through our capitalist economy, we will be ahead in most economic advancements, scientific achievements, and military force. Because we have free market; we allow our people to dream and equip them to achieve if they will be diligent to receive the education they have been given. Education is free to all who live in America this is not so around the world. The things we can't give a person are a will to achieve, a good work ethic to accomplish, nor who they will listen to for guidance. This is how Dr. Ben Carson who ran for the Republican nomination 4 years ago achieved his dreams. He came from a single parent home. His mother could not give him much but she insisted he read two books a week. They did not live in a well-to-do neighborhood; therefore, they were not in the most elite educational system. Yet, he became a neurosurgeon, leading in his field of expertise. President Donald Trump saw Dr. Carson's heart for people and offered him a job to restructure inner cities to better help the people to achieve dreams like he did. Dr. Carson took on the challenge and continues to give people better places to live, safer neighborhoods and a quality education. All this from a boy who didn't have much and yet, he achieved the American dream and helping others who share the same starting line. America does not limit our people from dreaming.
America created a country where dreams could happen if you work diligently. America is also the country that put into place a governmental system of checks and balances that ensures everyone gets a fair chance; no matter where their starting line was drawn. These checks and balances are the way justice is achieved. When corruption contaminates the rights of our constitution we have a right for authorities to stand up and fight for us. I don't have the money to pay for a lawyer to make sure my vote counts. For every illegitimate ballot a legitimate ballot is canceled out; therefore, my right to vote is take away from me.
There isn't anyone who takes the time to vote who thinks, "It doesn't really matter if they count it or not." Those who voted want their vote to be counted and they do not want it to be disregarded because of an illegitimate ballot. Therefore, do you want justice? Do we really want to know who the American people want as their president? Then we are going to have to move forward with justice. There is too much information out there that is unanswered and in America we have to answer for our actions and inactions. I teach this to my kids and I live by it.
I would be upset if President Trump didn't call for a recount. There are too many stories going around about ballots being found in dumpsters, counters taking a break and over 100,000 ballots being brought in while they were gone, ballots not being validated, etc. I just want to know the truth. If the presidency can be bought and sold then America for my grandchildren will not be the America I grew up in.
After I turned of the news at midnight, I knew this was a long way from being over. President Trump had not spoken yet but I hoped he would stand up and defend those whose votes were being washed out by the illegitimate, invalid ballots. He isn't just sticking up for himself and the other seats in the House and the Senate. He is sticking up for the jobs you and I have and for our kids to go to school. He is defending our right to vote. He is upholding the constitution. He is fighting for the small business owners who have suffered so much in the last 7 months. He is giving hope to those who have been bullied, taken advantage of, and have been imprisoned by injustice. So, how did I respond?
I prayed. I prayed for the well-being of President Trump and his family, his cabinet members and their families, and all who seek the truth. I prayed for the lies of the enemy to be made known. I prayed for people to want the truth. I prayed for the illegitimate ballots to be identified and removed from the count completely. I prayed for Americans to not give up the hope that their vote will count. Their vote will not be washed out by the invalid ballots. I prayed for justice to take place. I prayed for each judge who would look at the facts to not allow themselves to be corrupted by money or position. I prayed for people to be tired of and turn off all news that does not share facts, but spins their stories to control the minds of the people, telling the people how they should think.
John 8:32 (NKJV) And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
God gave us a mind so we could reason and not be deceived but when we do not match up what we are hearing with the truth then we are swept into the lie becoming the truth in our life. God can set us free from the lies. God can point out what is a lie; because it doesn't line up with the truth. God wants each person to be free from the lies of the enemy and embrace the freedom He offers. This should give you and I hope.
In our Pledge of Allegiance it says, "justice for all." In the Democrat National Convention they wanted to add, "someday" on the end of that. I am wondering, do they mean that for President Trump as well? Justice for all including House and Senate representatives even if they are Republican?
I happen to believe in America and that justice for all includes all Americans, even the Republican party and even President Trump.
I am not mad. I am in a warrior mindset and my job, as a Christian, is to pray. Pray for the truth to be revealed and for people to want to know the truth.
Father, I ask for You to come and give me courage to declare Your will to be done here on earth, in America as it is in heaven. I ask for protection for President Turmp and his family, his cabinet and their families, the lawyers who are representing America's right to vote, those who will be judging what the lawyers find. I pray that no harm comes to them. I pray no sickness comes to them. I ask for Your healing power to sustain them and Your wisdom to direct each one in Jesus' name. I ask for justice to be served. I ask for every illegitimate ballot to be found and pulled from the count. I ask for the American people to continue to have a voice. When our vote does not count, then we have been silenced. God, You have given us the the gift of voting. You have called us to pray and petition You, to request justice. Esther, went before the king for justice because of an injustice against her and her people. I am coming to You because there is an injustice that has taken place toward my people, Americans. I pray people would be tired of being lied to and told what to think. I pray they would seek the mind of Christ and follow You, the Truth. They will then see that the truth really does set them free. It sets them free from anger and hatred and gives them opportunities to achieve and unite. I ask for You to unveil the minds of each person and that they can see the deception and lies they have been caught in. I pray for clarity of understanding. I pray for hope to be restored in the American people. I pray each one would know You have seen the injustice done to them and that You will intervene on their behalf. I ask You preside over each court case pertaining to this election. I pray You would show Yourself mighty on behalf of Your people here in America in Jesus' name amen.
