Warriors Arise: February 11, 2023
1 Chronicles 15:25-26 (NKJV) So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the house of Obed-Edom with joy. 26 And so it was, when God helped the Levites who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that they offered seven bulls and seven rams.
"Lord God, Help!" How many times have I prayed that prayer? Too many times to count. His Word is true. There are dozens of verses specifically on God hearing our prayer. When He hears our prayers we can know He is making the way straight, opening closed doors, and parting the waters so we can get through. Therefore, we pray, "Lord, my God, help…".
Currently, I am praying into the the women's conference God has placed in my hands to do. He put in my heart when it is to take place. As I watched Him open up doors and bring helpers, I stand in awe of Him. In two weeks, He has me hosting The Overflow is Coming. The message is clear and I stand before Him doing what He has for me each day. I am so thankful, because He hasn't put upon me more than I can handle. He has brought people to help me and I am humbled. I am not carrying this alone. Then my youngest daughter left me a prayer on my desk after she went to bed. I was brought to tears at her innocent and precious prayer. When our churches prayers and concerns came out, they called it God's Conference. It truly is. He has called us to come away with Him. Prayers are not ceasing for what God is wanting to accomplish in each of the lives of those who will be at God's Conference.
The very night God spoke to me about what would be taught at the conference, I was calling on the name of Jesus. Last week, we were driving through the night. I had taken over the driving at 1:30 am. I was worshipping Jesus and then started listening to a Christian audio book. A couple hours later God began to speak about what would be spoken at this conference. I was in awe of the revelation. About an hour later, I was nearing Nashville, TN. I was following a car about ten car lengths behind. The skies were clear and then all of a sudden I didn't see the car in front of me. It disappeared into a wall of fog about 5 am. I saw their brake lights come on hard and I tapped mine. I quickly realized we were on ice and visibility was gone unless they were braking. I needed more than a tap, we were coming in fast, but now we were on ice. Then I saw the semi beside me and the line of cars in front of the car I was following. I called out to Jesus at least 5 times. My heart was pounding, but the peace of God was over me. In that moment, He was my fortress, my strong tower. We slid. I could have taken the van into the ditch, but I felt the Lord steady my nerves and strengthen me to stay in my lane. I was not to be afraid of what was ahead of me nor the semi beside me. We didn't hit anyone nor were we hit. Without a doubt, God saved us!
The enemy thought he would come at me at my weakest moment. Like clockwork, between 5 and 6 am is the most difficult time for me to drive. That is my sleepy time. When I get to 6 am, I am good. The enemy thought he could threaten me, quiet my mouth from sharing the revelation God gave me. I felt like God said, "At 6 am, send a text to your friend and ask if you can deliver the revelation to the women's group she is a part of." So I did and they said "Yes" and I released the word. I gave testimony of what God had done. It was as if God wanted me to quickly get the revelation out so that the things in my schedule did not swallow it. When I shared it, I received so much more, personally. It lit a fire in me to believe for and move forward with planning the women's conference, God's conference. There is no way, after what God did that I could return home and keep this to myself. So, daily we are praying for what God will do at His conference and look forward to the great exploits ahead (Daniel 32:11b).
[If you are praying for what God going to do at the women's conference, I would also ask that you prayer for the marriage conference my sister-in-law and brother are hosting, it is called FLAME. It is next weekend and marriages are being strengthened by what they do. I praise God for the work of their hands in this ministry.]
Whatever, sickness has been released since the beginning of the year, has to stop in the mighty name of Jesus. I want to encourage you with the following verses. Whether is is another round of COVID or something else, I pray You will embrace these verses and know God hears you when you pray. It can be something you pray every day, pressing into His goodness to accomplish or it can be the "Jesus. Jesus. Jesus" prayer in the moment you are faced with the attack. What we cannot do is think the enemy or this sickness is greater than the power of God to save us. God will help! Believe, God will help!
1 John 5:14-15 (NKJV) Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Psalms 66:17-20 (NKJV)
17 I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart,
The Lord will not hear.
19 But certainly God has heard me;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God,
Who has not turned away my prayer,
Nor His mercy from me!
1 Peter 3:12 (NKJV )
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV)
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Psalms 34:17 (NKJV)
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
Isaiah 65:24 (NKJV)
“It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer;
And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
Psalms 18:6 & 18-21 (NKJV)
6 In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.
18 But the Lord was my support.
19 He also brought me out into a broad place;
He delivered me because He delighted in me.
20 The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness;
According to the cleanness of my hands
He has recompensed me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord,
And have not wickedly departed from my God.
Father I come before You and make my petitions known. I praise You because You are incredibly loving and faithful. You listen to me when I speak. You don't have to but You want to. You desire to hear from me and to be involved in my life. I call upon You, because I know there is no one who cares for me like You. You desire for me to prosper and advance Your kingdom. You desire for me to be in good health and be made whole. I will position myself before You and make my petitions known. I will not accept the threats of the enemy as something that comes from You. I will seek You and call upon You. If You decide that I need to fight this battle, then I will fight from my position in Christ. I will not allow the enemy to bewitch me into thinking that I have to suffer just because others are suffering. I will pray and keep on praying. I will seek You and trust You to make a way out for me. I will pray for the freedom of Your people and lead them to You in Jesus' name amen.
