Yes, He Will

Warriors Arise: November 18, 2022

Matthew 15:30-31 (NKJV) Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them. 31 So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

This may seem out of place to be thanking God for healing today; but I believe God still heals today. Jesus is not walking around earth; however He did tell His disciples and it applies to us today, "All authority has been given to me and I give it to you". He also said the following.

John 14:12-14 (NKJV) “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Today, I stand again on the Word of God. I believe every word to be true. Years ago, I had a vision. God handed me my Bible. I opened it and someone had taken a black Sharpie to it. I was not happy. I looked at Him and said, "What it this? Who did this"? He said, "This is your Bible. Everything that is covered in the black Sharpie is what you do not believe." From that point forward, I made it a point to study the Bible in such a way that each time I finished reading it, I agreed with it. It challenged me. When I was unsure, I would declare, "I believe it, because You said it and it is written in Your Word and Your Word is without error. I may not understand it, but I believe what You have recored in Your Word." I had to get my mind to come into alignment with God's Word. I needed His Word to be written in me, on my heart and in my mind. I wanted it to be a part of my DNA.

Today, I will be taking my youngest two, Selah who is 14 and Charis who is 10 to a specialist for developmental hip dysplasia. I have prayed for their healing. I believe God can heal them in an instant. However, I have learned sometimes God desires to bring others alongside His work and do the miracle with Him. When Lydia was healed of ALL Leukemia, the doctors could not explain how she was healed so quickly. They had to take her off of the research program, because they couldn't explain her healing. Yes, she had chemotherapy. Yes, the doctors told us chemotherapy took her from the best of the best case scenario to the worst of the worst case scenario. But God intervened and they got to see it. She rang the bell in 15 months. Even though, the doctors never said they believed God did it. They also stood there a little dumbfounded that they couldn't explain why she was doing so well. No one rings the bell in less than 5 years. We, with a host of believers, petitioned for her healing and God showed out big and mighty on her behalf. Now we face another battle for healing.

Seven weeks ago, Scott pulled the car around so Selah could get in the back after a football game. Selah opened the door and stood. As tears strolled down her face she said, "Mom, I can't get in. My hips hurt too bad." I went around to help her in the back of the car. This led to having c-rays and a diagnosis which led to having Charis checked out as well. The top of Selah's femurs are flat and Charis' have started. Today, just like I have for the past few years, I noticed something was not quite right when Selah walked. Then when Charis started walking oddly, prayers began for her as well. It took cheerleading to expose the problem. I fully believe God is going to give the specialist the answer and we are going to walk in the strength of the Lord. We will see God bring healing to Selah and Charis. God is our healer. Whether He works through another and gives them the opportunity to do a great exploit with Him or decides to heal them on His own, God is the healer. I trust He has the answer and will work through this specialist for Selah's and Charis' healing.

Father, I trust You. Thank You for Your healing. You are amazing in all of Your ways. I will walk with You through this and I will come out a victor because You lead me into triumph. Selah and Charis will know the mighty power of Your healing. They will know Your love flows from heaven into their lives. They will know You do not leave them in a place of less than, but You take them to a place of more than enough. You will provide for their every need for their healing to come in Jesus' name amen.
