Warriors Arise: March 11, 2021
Daniel 6:5 (NKJV) Then these men said, “We shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
People can be so envious of you, so jealous of what you have,and slanderous in all they say about you. However, we cannot allow their wickedness to change who we are. Keep in mind, what they do to you can never change the fact of Who’s you are. You are a valued child of God. God thinks wonderful thoughts of you. God positions you to be an ambassador to advance His kingdom. God says you are the apple of His eye. He looks upon you with loving eyes and His heart beats for you. Nothing "they" say or do can make you less valuable to God.
Some people want you to fail, but we know where our strength comes from. Our strength comes from God, the One who loves us with an everlasting love. He is the One who calls us out of the darkness and into His marvelous light. He is the One who makes a way for us, when there is no way. He is the One Whose love never fails!
Keep in mind, Daniel was appointed to one position. All of these men got together to plan his demise; yet, only one of them was going to get the position Daniel held.
Psalms 27:1-8 (NKJV)
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
4 One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
5 For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!
Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
I do not know who or what has come against you, but I do know my God. Seek His face and He will hear you. Declare these verses over your life and be filled with courage to walk in all God has placed before you. There are people who can't be happy for your success. There are people who want to see you fall. There are people who do not want you to achieve your goal, but God is for you. God thinks good thoughts toward you. God has a wonderful future for you!
Father, I thank you for all you have done for me. I thank you for what You have empowered me to achieve. You have been there to encourage me to give my very best. When I was blind to my weaknesses, You brought me into the light so I could see. I repent for where I have hidden in my sin. I receive Your forgiveness and celebrate that You have brought me out of the muck and the mire. You have picked me up and set my feet on solid ground. You are my rock and my shield. Thank You for hearing my cry and coming to my rescue. Thank You for squelching the blow of the slander and gossip. Thank You for protecting my heart and keeping my mind focused on You, Your plans and the future You have for me. I have been a people-pleaser, but more importantly, I want to please You in all I do and say. You are my strength. I do not know who the enemy will use to try and derail me from the path You have for me walk. I pray I will keep my focus on You. My desire is to trust You, listen to Your voice and follow You. I ask for You to help me to see You in every situation and what I do to bring honor to You. I pray my number one desire is that what I do please You in Jesus' name amen.
