Warriors Arise: September 22, 2022
1 Samuel 18:12-15 (NKJV) Now Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with him, but had departed from Saul. 13 Therefore Saul removed him from his presence, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. 14 And David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him. 15 Therefore, when Saul saw that he behaved very wisely, he was afraid of him.
Your fear is your fear. You and I can't control someone else's fear. They have to handle that themselves. The problem with fear is that you can't ever get rid of it, until you get right with God. What do I mean by that?
Fear takes over in any area of your life that you withhold from God and try to manage yourself. So until you give every part of your life over to God, you will remain in fear in that area of your life.
I want to go further but I had to delete it all. God wants you and I to take a look at our lives and be honest with ourselves. Where do you have fear? What are you afraid of? Why are you trying to manage that part of your life yourself? Every part of your life you are trying to manage yourself is the part you do not trust God to do what will bless you.
Father, I come before You now. I am full of fear in this area of my life _________________. Today, I give that over to You. I have done a terrible job managing it and fear has overtaken me. It is creeping into other areas of my life. Today, I trust You to heal me, remove confusion and lead me to freedom. I open myself up to You and ask You to come in like a flood and cleanse me of all fear. I receive the purity of Your love and trust You. You work all things out for my good. I will trust You. Come, saturate me with Your love, restore my soul, and grow my faith in Jesus' name amen.
